The TFV8 Big Baby comes with 2 x coils and replacement glass

The tank comes as 2ml capacity (as with all TPD compliant tanks) but can be adapted to use a smaller coil, thus giving you an increased (approx. 5ml) capacity. It gives a superb clean taste, provides tremendous cloud production and has an amazing airflow.

It is, as with pretty much all sub-ohm tanks, a very thirsty one! With a maximum capacity of 2ml with the pre-installed coil, you need to utilize the adapter (included) to use the standard Smok TFV8 coils, thus making it a more convenient 5ml tank. Due to the TPD regulations retailers are only legally allowed to sell tanks with a maximum capacity of 2ml, hence when sold, the large coil restricts the capacity to 2ml. Which coils can it use?

The Big Baby Tank is compatible with all TFV8 coils; Q2 (0.4 ohm),Q2 (0.6 ohm) X4 (0.15 ohm), T6 (0.2 ohm) and T8 (0.15 ohm) and also, the Geekvape Mesh coils (X1 or X2)

The more coils you have per atomiser the more flavour. The cost to this is that you will need to allow more time for the Eliquid to soak prior to first use.
Ecig Switch recommends leaving at least an hour per coil for the cotton to absorb the Eliquids fully then break the coil in by starting on a very gentle power setting, say 12 watts. This may produce no vapour at all but will warm the Eliquids, making it runny and able to soak through capillary action faster. Gradually increase the wattage over the next hour for a double win. Not only does your atomiser last so much longer, it tastes better per puff too.
A good practice is to leave the coils to soak overnight prior to usage then break in gently as above. If you are in a hurry, see our tips on priming coils here
